Upstream Production Solutions (Upstream PS) has welcomed Mark Beighton to manage its Queensland operation.
Mark is a mechanical engineer with 23 years’ experience spanning management, engineering, contracting, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance. He joins Upstream PS from Origin Energy, where he led flagship programs over 15 years for the extensive gas processing and water treatment facilities of Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG) as well as the Kupe natural gas field in New Zealand.
Mark’s intimate facility knowledge puts him in good stead to lead Upstream PS’ highly regarded coal seam gas maintenance team which services wellsites and balance of plant infrastructure in addition to a range of maintenance engineering, shutdown, integrity and modifications services.
After several successful years building Upstream PS’ Queensland business, Cameron Wills will now take up the role of Executive General Manager East, overseeing Queensland, Victoria and the establishment of a South Australian operation.
Offering congratulations upon Mark’s appointment, Cameron noted, “Mark’s program management and project services background makes him the ideal candidate to lead our team to further future success, maintaining our strong safety track record, driving program efficiencies, productivity and increasing value for our clients”.
